My local cafe is run by a great guy, who is trying to
preserve the history of the village and one way he is
doing this is by displaying photographs of past and
present views of the village.
He asked one day if I had any of the old war memorial
which once stood on the High Street. Unfortunately the
only one I had of it was at its new location in the
cemetery which is the one on the left.
It was a snap shot and needed a lift. So I blurred
the back ground and adjusted the contrast of the soldier
on top of the monument and as it was coming up to
remembrance day I added the ghost of a world war one
soldier to the park bench.
